Master in Health Psychology MSc

Health strategy has shifted from treating disease toward maintaining health and preventing illness — a shift with particular urgency in Wales, which has an older population and a high burden of chronic illness, and where the Well-being of Future Generations Act (2015) now frames policy.

This BPS-accredited Master's trains graduates to act on that: understanding how thoughts, feelings and behaviour shape health, and applying psychological knowledge to promote healthier lifestyles. Assessment uses authentic professional scenarios with detailed briefings and criteria co-developed with students. Also delivered in Greece by partner City Unity College.
