Graduate Certificate in Financial Technology

Tuition is Wollongong/On Campus: $10212 (2026) per session, $20424 (2026) total course fee (international); applications are due International: 18 November 2025; Domestic: 31 December 2025.

The programme runs over six months full-time or the equivalent part-time load, delivered online on a part-time basis, with two trimesters each year (Trimester 1 starting February and Trimester 3 starting August).

It is aimed at professionals who already hold a recognised bachelor’s or master’s degree, or who have at least three years of tertiary study combined with three years of managerial or professional experience in finance. Throughout the study you examine how technology reshapes banking, global payment systems, insurance and financial markets, and explore blockchain applications such as digital currencies, smart contracts, tokenisation of assets and decentralised finance. Graduates move into roles such as finance manager, analyst programmer, economist or join FinTech start-ups, and can progress onto the Master of Financial Technology with credit for the four subjects completed.
