Global Business Development is a three-semester Master of Arts programme at Kempten University of Applied Sciences taught entirely in English, focusing on global expansion strategies, international market management, and product development. The curriculum addresses major business trends including digitalisation, globalisation, and sustainability through topics such as managing creativity and innovation, working in international and virtual teams, analysing and developing business models, and applying circular economy approaches. The first two semesters consist of lectures, seminars, and project-based work, including two major international project courses with excursions to Tenerife (Spain) and Lodz (Poland), and a course run in collaboration with partner universities in Lapland (Finland) and Northern Ireland (UK). The third semester is primarily dedicated to the Master's thesis, which is in most cases completed in cooperation with a company. Students also have the option to spend an additional semester abroad before writing the thesis. The programme is available for both winter and summer semester entry.
