This programme prepares students for careers in geomatics, combining fieldwork and office-based tasks. You will work with GPS, satellite data, drones, LIDAR, and 3D modeling software. The program is designed for those interested in geography, spatial data, and modern technology. It is the only French-language geomatics programme in the Montreal region.

You will learn to collect, process, and analyze geographic data. Courses cover surveying, cartography, GIS development, and digital mapping. Fieldwork begins in the first session, where you use total stations, GNSS receivers, and drones. You also gain hands-on experience with advanced tools like mobile LIDAR scanners and 3D modeling software.

The programme includes two paid co-op placements, offering up to six months of real-world experience. Graduates have a 93% job placement rate. Many continue to university, especially in geomatics, civil engineering, or environmental geography. Admission requires a secondary school diploma with no prerequisites.
