Bachelor in Foundation Program

Students in the Foundation Program at OPIT gain hands-on experience by building, configuring, and testing actual computer systems, moving beyond theory to understand the practical mechanics of hardware and software. This one-year, 60 ECTS program is specifically designed to bridge the gap for learners holding an EQF Level 3 qualification who aspire to enter a Bachelor’s degree in Technology. By focusing on a blend of core academic competencies—such as referencing, advanced communication, and mathematical literacy—alongside technical fundamentals like digital technology and web basics, the curriculum ensures a seamless transition into higher education.

The program is delivered entirely online through a flexible model that combines live sessions with rich asynchronous content on the Canvas platform.
