Bachelor in Finance and accounting for business

Finance and Accounting for Business at the University of Economics in Katowice is a full-time bachelor's degree program taught in English over six semesters. The program introduces students to the world of modern finance and accounting, described by the university as the language of business, and is designed for students who want to explore the world of finance, understand the decision-making processes behind company financing and investment, learn the role of accounting and its importance, learn to present and analyze information on a company's financial and economic standing, understand the factors behind efficient financial management, and refine their English skills. Finance and Accounting for Business, abbreviated FAB, combines corporate finance management and accounting. Studies conducted in English open the way to international contacts and relations, and a practical approach to the field allows students to find work during their studies at companies such as PwC, Capgemini, and Accenture. The Finance and Accounting for International Business program was developed as an alternative to a Joint MSc Degree in European Business and Finance, giving students the chance to complete a program in Poland in English while following English quality assurance standards, with the original Joint Degree program enriched by modules focused on finance and accounting in an international business environment. The program targets both international and Polish students, and Katowice, home to the university, offers a base in southern Poland for students pursuing careers in corporate finance and accounting.
