Master in Ethik im öffentlichen Raum

Graduates from the MSc in Public Ethics pursue careers in NGOs, foundations, political parties, and media, among other sectors. This interdisciplinary master's programme, based at the University of Bamberg, combines Philosophy, Evangelische Theologie, and Politikwissenschaft, with a strong focus on practical ethics through a seven-week placement in public ethics. The Cambridge Model is used to engage students in original texts, discussion, and essay writing, enhancing analytical and communicative skills. The programme includes modules such as Praktische Philosophie, Evangelische Theologie, and Politikwissenschaft to provide a solid foundation in ethical reasoning. Students can further deepen their knowledge in areas like Themen der öffentlichen Ethik and Argumentation und Diskursformen öffentlicher Ethik.
