Collegium Civitas offers a bachelor's program in English Studies, taught in English in Warszawa, Poland, over three years, or six semesters, with annual tuition of 7,100 PLN. The English Studies specialisation sits within International Relations and is aimed at students who want to improve their English language skills while also learning about the culture, politics, and business environment of what the program materials call the Anglosphere. The program is described as research-oriented, offering in-depth study of the culture, politics, society, and economy of core English-speaking countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Alongside this regional focus, the program builds the linguistic skills and knowledge of English-speaking countries needed to work in an international environment. Coursework gives an overview of the main social, political, and historical processes that have shaped, and continue to shape, the Anglosphere. Students study alongside diplomacy practitioners, advisers to international institutions, and researchers and experts in various fields of international relations from Poland, the United Kingdom, and Canada who specialize in English-speaking countries. All courses are taught in English, and the study programme is supervised by Katarzyna Skiert-Andrzejuk, MA. Entry requires an English language proficiency level of IELTS 6.5, equivalent to B2 on the CEFR scale, along with a successfully passed admission interview conducted either via video call or in person. English studies combined with international relations gives graduates a base for work in diplomacy, international organizations, media, or business roles where knowledge of English-speaking countries and strong English communication skills are both valued.
