Master in Englisch (master)

Graduates of the programme go on to roles in teaching, notably as Realschule teachers, and are prepared for their First State Examination, two years of internship, and the Second State Examination.

Modules in this programme are focused on literary, cultural, and linguistic studies of the anglophone world, complemented by language practice and international orientation. The majority of modules, specifically those in the Fachwissenschaft, are shared with students from the Bachelor's programme in Anglistik/Amerikanistik, while the Fachdidaktik modules are tailored to the specific needs of future teachers, incorporating aspects of educational science, school pedagogy, and psychology.
