About Electronic Systems Engineering Technology

Applications for the Sep 2026 intake close on Sep 1, 2026; tuition is Year 2 (returning students) - $8,290 for the 2026-27 academic year.

The program is grounded in theory and applied research. Students learn to design, test and construct electronic prototypes. They study analog and digital circuits, automation systems, microprocessors and programmable logic controllers. Practical labs develop troubleshooting and project management skills.

Three years, full time, 90 credits, includes three co-op work terms.

Graduates enter roles such as automation technologist, robotics technologist, communications technologist, or electronics design technologist.

Grade 12 with minimum 60% in Pre-Calculus 30 or Math B30 and C30, Physics 30, English language requirement. Alternative admission available via ACCUPLACER© with specified cut scores. International students must meet English proficiency requirements.

On-campus, full-time, three years.
