Programme Focus

This master’s programme helps students shape how firms, regions, and societies adapt to economic and technological change. It provides skills to understand, navigate, and lead change in a fast-evolving economy. The programme combines economics, management, and public policy. It explores how industries and regions adapt to sustainable solutions.

What Students Study

The curriculum covers innovation, sustainability, and regional development. Students learn applied social science methods. The third semester offers choices: internships, international exchange, or specialised study tracks. An entrepreneurship track is available. The programme ends with a master’s thesis or capstone project. Students can work on their own business plan for the capstone.

Entry and Start

The programme requires academic admission. Specific requirements are listed on the university's page. The tuition fees apply to non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizens and are listed in NOK. Studies begin in August 2026. The programme awards 120 ECTS credits over 2 years (4 semesters).
