The Master's degree programme in Economic Policy and Journalism at TU Dortmund University combines training in journalism with graduate-level economics education. The second and third semesters integrate advanced journalism training with MA-level economics courses and include one internship each at media organisations. The fourth semester is dedicated to MA-level economics courses, an MA colloquium, and the thesis. Two internships are included in total. Graduates develop proficiency across print, broadcast, and digital media, and become able to analyse and communicate complex economic developments clearly.
