This programme is designed for recent graduates and career changers interested in early childhood education. Students learn how young children grow, learn, and develop in responsive, play-based environments. They gain skills in inclusive classroom leadership and supporting children with diverse needs. The programme includes four practicum placements in licensed early learning settings.

Two years, full-time, with four practicum placements and 60 credits.

Graduates enter roles as early childhood educators in child care centres, preschools, after-school care, and programs for children with diverse needs.

High school diploma with 50% in ELA 30-1 or 65% in ELA 30-2, or equivalent test scores, or 9 post-secondary credits, or Early Learning and Child Care Certificate with 2.0 GPA. English proficiency required for non-native speakers via IELTS 6.5 or Duolingo 120-125.
