This programme is designed for recent graduates and career changers interested in working with young children. Students learn to support child development through play-based, inclusive activities. They study child development, behaviour guidance, special needs, and family-centred practices. Practical experience is gained through two full-day practicums in licensed early learning settings.

Graduates may work as Early Childhood Educators in child care centres, preschools, after-school programs, and programs for children with diverse needs.

High school completion with 50% in ELA 30-1 or 65% in ELA 30-2, or Accuplacer test with minimum scores, or 9 post-secondary credits. English proficiency required for non-native speakers: IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6, Duolingo 120-125, or equivalent.
