This programme focuses on play-based, child-centred practices in early learning environments. Students learn to support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. The curriculum includes hands-on practicum placements in licensed child care settings. Graduates are prepared to work as early childhood educators in daycares, preschools, and family support programs.

1 year (2 terms), 30 credits, includes two practicum placements with seminar courses.

Graduates can work as Early Childhood Educators, Child Care Workers, Preschool Educators, Family Day Home Educators, or Before and After School Program Educators.

High school diploma or equivalent with 50% in English 30-1 or 65% in English 30-2. Mature students (21+) may apply based on interview and College Entrance Assessment. English proficiency required: TOEFL iBT 79 (no section below 19), IELTS Academic 6.0, CAEL 60, MELAB 80, Duolingo 100, or PTE Academic 50.
