Doctoral Programme in Engineering Sciences (4 yrs)

The Doctoral Programme in Engineering Sciences is strongly oriented toward industrial relevance. The programme covers three research fields: Automation Science and Engineering, Mechanical and Production Engineering, and Materials Science and Engineering. Doctoral students have access to research environments suited to work in these areas and develop both subject knowledge and scientific communication skills. Graduates from this programme hold the Doctor of Science in Technology degree and are equipped to translate industrial challenges into scientific research questions, apply scientific methods to generate new knowledge, and collaborate effectively with industrial or academic communities.
