Digital Photography

The programme makes use of a dedicated photo studio and Mac labs, giving students practical experience with lighting, composition and industry-standard software such as Photoshop.

The 12-week part-time course is split into two semesters. Semester 1 focuses on Digital Photography 1, teaching beginners to compose, plan shoots and edit images for web and print. Semester 2 builds on this with Digital Photography 2, introducing SLR cameras and manual settings to expand creative possibilities.

Throughout the course there are group discussions, on-location shoots and one-to-one tuition, culminating in a public exhibition of student work that is reviewed by professional photographers.
