The Master's in Digital Media at the University of Bremen is a two-year, English-language programme focused on the design, implementation, and evaluation of digital media systems. It leads to either a Master of Arts, awarded by the University of the Arts Bremen for the arts and design specialisation, or a Master of Science, awarded by the University of Bremen for the computer science and media informatics specialisation. The programme runs over four semesters, with entry in the winter semester. The first year builds foundations in media informatics, media design, and media theory, alongside special topics in digital media. The third semester is the central phase: students work full-time on a complex project at the intersection of science, arts, and design. The fourth semester is reserved for the Master's thesis.
