About the Program

The MSc in Digital Business Management at Pforzheim University is a three-semester full-time programme focused on project and change management of digital projects. The curriculum is structured around three pillars: process analytics and process design, data analytics and algorithms, and responsible management methods. The programme covers ten modules across its three semesters. Core areas include Digital Management, Modern Sustainable Leadership, Ethics and Law in Digital Business, Development of Digital Business Models and Products, Agile Project and Process Management, Research Methods and Algorithms, and Data Analytics with R. A practical Business Project module requires students to work with a partner from the corporate world on a specific digital challenge. In the third semester, students choose from a compulsory elective covering topics such as Data Science with Python, Big Data Analytics, Supply Chain Simulations, Customer Experience Management, and Predictive Analytics. The programme concludes with the Master's thesis, worth 21 ECTS. All courses are held in English, and the total programme comprises 90 ECTS credits. Teaching takes place in groups of around 25 students, with faculty and lecturers from companies and consultancies. The programme requires applicants to complete a two-stage application process including a written application and an online interview.
