Master in Didaktik der Mittelschule (Erweiterungsstudium)

This Staatsexamen programme is for students who have completed or are currently enrolled in a Lehramt an Grundschulen programme, and want to extend their teaching capabilities to Mittelschulen. In addition to subject matter, the curriculum focuses on the goals and methods of teaching, as well as the development of practical teaching skills, which are directly applied in the schulpraktische Ausbildung during the Referendariat. Students will gain practical competence in three didactic subjects relevant to the Mittelschule, including choices such as Deutsch, Mathematik, or a language.
