Master in Design for Digital Futures (MA)

The Design for Digital Futures MA at Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm is an English-language programme that combines creative practice with technical skills in digital design. Students gain practical experience in computer-generated imagery (CGI), generative design, and artificial intelligence while also working across illustration, graphic design, typography, film, animation, interaction, and object design. Skills in computer science, AI, physical interaction, and mathematical principles are developed alongside this creative breadth. The programme runs over 4 semesters starting in the winter semester at an annual tuition fee of 2,000 EUR. The first two semesters each contain a computer science foundation component — covering applied mathematical methods and applied computer science — and a design project module based on project-led learning, plus a design research component.
