About Dental Hygiene

Tuition is Year 1 - $11,140, Year 2 - $18,970, Year 3 - $12,720 for the 2026-27 academic year., while applications for the Sep 2026 intake are open until Dec 31, 2026.

Dental hygienists provide preventive, educational, and therapeutic dental care to patients of all ages. Students learn to assess oral health, create treatment plans, and deliver care in clinical settings. The program combines classroom instruction, laboratory work, and hands-on experience in a dental clinic. Graduates are prepared for roles in private practices, public health, and community clinics.

Three-year program with clinical experiences and health promotion activities. No co-op or practicum mentioned.

Graduates work as dental hygienists, expanded duty dental hygienists, orthodontic hygienists, or dental hygiene program teachers.

Grade 12 with minimum 70% in English Language Arts 30, Biology 30, Chemistry 30, and one of Foundations of Mathematics 30 or Pre-Calculus 30. English language requirement applies. Applicants must submit a portfolio and meet selection criteria.

On-campus, full-time, three years.
