It combines the intellectual challenge of the **Geschichte der Populärkultur und -musik** module with the practical demands of the job market to create a programme that prepares students for careers in the management of cultural institutions and music businesses.

The programme is offered in partnership with the Hochschule für Musik Saar, which enables students to collaborate with musicians and musicologists, as well as to collaborate with the PopRat e.V. and the Saarländischen Rundfunk.

Through these collaborations, students gain valuable practical experience, which is further enhanced by the programme's emphasis on a broad range of topics, from Medienkomparatistik to Wirtschaftswissenschaften, and a focus on professional development through a Professionalisierungsbereich section.

This interdisciplinary approach prepares students for a variety of careers in fields such as the Mediensektor, öffentliches Kulturverwaltung, or the Management von Künstlerinnen und Künstlern.
