This programme teaches professional cooking with modern methods and equipment in a high-tech kitchen. Students build basic and advanced food preparation skills through direct practice. The course covers the science behind sauces, baking, and food service operations. Learners gain real-world experience through a paid work placement in the industry.

Two years, full-time, 480-hour paid industry work placement.

Graduates work as chefs, kitchen managers, caterers, or restaurant owners.

High school diploma with 50% in ELA 10-1 or 60% in ELA 10-2, and 50% in MATH 10C or MATH 10-3. Alternatively, Accuplacer test scores of 225 in Reading and Writing, and 225 in Arithmetic. English language proficiency required for non-native speakers.

On-campus, full-time, two years.
