While altitude training is a common strategy for boosting aerobic capacity, the maintenance of these gains outside of controlled training camps remains a complex, under-researched phenomenon. This programme moves beyond short-term snapshots by focusing on how haemoglobin mass fluctuates throughout a full training and competition cycle. Candidates will engage in high-level applied physiology, working directly with high-performance groups and utilizing advanced techniques such as carbon monoxide rebreathing.
