Construction Engineering Technician – Civil and Mining

This program trains students in practical and theoretical skills for construction and mining projects. It focuses on site management, reading plans, and using specialized software. Students learn to apply engineering concepts to real-world construction and mining tasks. The curriculum includes hands-on training in underground mines and laboratory work.

Graduates enter careers as draftspersons, estimators, surveyors, quality control officers, ventilation technicians, bearing capacity technicians, support and service technicians, geological technicians, or materials coordinators.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, 1 French credit, 1 mathematics credit. International applicants must submit English language proficiency test results unless they will obtain their diploma before classes start.

On-campus, full-time, 4 semesters.
