About Bachelor in Commerciële Economie

In the first year of Commerciële Economie, you work on projects for real companies, such as creating a profitable product or improving a service, while learning about commercial principles and sustainable entrepreneurship. You also gain experience in social design, user experience, and online marketing. The curriculum is structured into blocks, each focusing on a different theme and culminating in a project for a real-world client. In the second year, you choose an emerging trend affecting local entrepreneurs and conduct research, culminating in a trend report presented to Zeeuwse businesses. The third year involves a six-month internship and a minor, either deepening your knowledge in a specific area or broadening your skills. The fourth year focuses on interdisciplinary collaboration with students from other disciplines and a final graduation project. Undergraduate research and practical experience are integral to the programme, with opportunities to start your own business, study abroad, or participate in the Honours Programme.
