Students who thrive on exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare will be well-supported at Chang Gung University, as they can participate in AI workshops like the Medical AI Workshop: Making AI Safe and Healthy (MASH). Students will gain hands-on experience with data privacy, ethical concerns, and clinical validation through the AI Research Center, and the AI Lecture Hall hosts forums and seminars. Chang Gung University offers a student-faculty ratio of 11:1, with 6,805 students, 603 full-time faculty, and 692 adjunct faculty members. Students at the College of Intelligent Computing can develop capabilities in data processing, predictive analyses, and contributions to the eHealth industry as well as integrating AI with robotics, cybersecurity, and medicine.

Students will also have the opportunity to join the Institute of Health Data Science, which focuses on AI technology to solve clinical and health-related problems, including the processing of large amounts of data using machine learning and artificial intelligence. The Institute will host an admissions briefing on October 4, 2024. Students can also participate in various events and seminars, such as the AI Seminar on May 12, 2026, which will cover topics like AI safety in the information and physical spaces, and the integration of AI with robotics, cybersecurity, and medicine. The College of Intelligent Computing also enjoys strong ties with the Formosa Plastics Group and the Chang Gung Medical Foundation, providing abundant research support, collaborations, and access to research data.
