Graduates of the Capacité d'Addictologie clinique go on to work in various healthcare settings, contributing to the prevention, detection, and treatment of addictions. The programme includes a 40-hour course plus 80 half-days of practical training, focusing on neurobiology, psychopathology, and therapeutic approaches to addiction. The programme includes an exam probatoire, a 30-page dissertation, and an oral presentation, and is designed to enhance the expertise of general practitioners and specialists, both in hospitals and in private practice in France.
