Bachelor in BUT Génie Civil et Construction Durable

Students drawn to the Bachelor Universitaire de Technologie Génie Civil – Construction Durable (BUT GCCD) will delve into the Building and Public Works (BTP) sector, focusing on both technological and non-technological aspects of the profession, such as project management. This programme, offered by the IUT of Kourou, is designed to equip students with the ability to manage projects from the design phase to the realization on-site, providing them with the necessary skills to contribute to sustainable construction practices. The training includes a focus on project management, materials and structures, and professional skills, along with practical experience through internships and a vast technical project over 600 hours. Students will be exposed to a variety of domains including technology, management, materials, and sustainability, with a goal of developing comprehensive knowledge applicable to various roles in the BTP sector.
