Master in Business Development

The Master of Science in Business Development at the University of Münster prepares students to start, grow, and transform businesses. The programme draws from entrepreneurship, strategic management, and innovation, and is structured around six core modules covering business modelling, growth strategies, and corporate entrepreneurship, followed by five elective courses chosen by each student. Two advanced seminars and a final thesis complete the 120-credit, four-semester structure. Practice-oriented learning runs throughout the programme. Students work on real cases, develop business plans, and present their ideas to practitioners from industry and academia. A semester abroad is recommended and international credits can be recognised. Team collaboration, individual mentoring, and ethical reflection are embedded across the curriculum. The programme starts in the winter semester and is based at the University of Münster in Münster, Germany.
