The Business Consulting Master at Furtwangen University is a three-semester programme designed for students who want to work at the intersection of business analysis, process management, and enterprise software. The curriculum spans management consulting methods, advanced accounting and controlling, supply chain management, business strategy, data warehousing and business intelligence, e-business technologies, and process-oriented standard software including SAP. Teaching takes place through lectures, projects, seminars, and lab sessions. The first semester covers consulting foundations, process management, and accounting. The second develops skills in systems engineering, data warehousing, and SAP implementation. The third semester is reserved for the Master's thesis. Elective courses allow students to tailor their studies to specific interests within the consulting field. Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree in Business Economics, Information Technology, Engineering, Social Sciences, or a similar field, and must have at least one year of full-time professional experience after graduation.
