The programme opens with the mandatory module “Business Analytics and Intelligence”, worth 10 credits, which introduces the theoretical foundations of data-driven decision-making and the tools used in modern business intelligence.

Each week students alternate between lectures, hands-on labs and team projects. In the Data Management for Business Analytics lab they design relational schemas, write SQL queries and experiment with NoSQL document stores. Programming for Business Analytics provides practical experience in a business-oriented language, while AI and Emerging Technologies and Data Visualisation modules develop skills in machine learning, generative AI, and interactive dashboards. The IT Strategy and Governance unit adds a strategic perspective on digital transformation and regulatory compliance.

By the end of the year the cohort produces a portfolio of analytics solutions, from data extraction pipelines to AI-enhanced visual reports, preparing them for analyst, consultant or data-strategy roles in a range of industries.
