Bachelor in Biosystems Technology / Bioinformatics (B.Sc.)

Graduates of the Biosystems Technology/Bioinformatics Bachelor's program at TH Wildau go on to work in the life sciences sector, as well as in industrial and research areas. This program is focused on the interface between molecular biology, surface technologies, and microsystem engineering, with a strong emphasis on biohybrid systems for analytical data extraction in genomic, proteomic, medical diagnostics, and food fields. Students gain knowledge and skills in biology, biochemistry, bioanalysis, information technology, bioinformatics, and physics, as well as practical experience and industry insights. The curriculum includes modules such as General Chemistry, Informatics, Programming, Principles of Physics and Engineering, and Methods in Bioinformatics.
