The BioScience Technology diploma prepares graduates to work as lab technologists in bioscience fields. Students gain hands-on experience in laboratory settings through theory, practical exercises, and a four-week practicum. The program focuses on developing skills in DNA, RNA, and protein analysis, laboratory safety, and data reporting. Graduates are qualified for roles in agricultural biosciences, biomedicine, bioproducts, and environmental sectors.

Two years, full-time, includes a four-week practicum.

Graduates work as biological laboratory technologists, agronomy technologists, food bacteriological technologists, or medical laboratory assistants in research, quality control, and environmental analysis roles.

Grade 12 with minimum 65% in Chemistry 30, Biology 30, Pre-Calculus 30, and 30-level English Language Arts. International students must meet English language requirements. Alternative admission available via ACCUPLACER scores.

On-campus, full-time, two years.
