Want to use science to make a real impact? Study our Bachelor of Forensic Science – the only undergraduate course of its kind in WA – and gain the knowledge and practical skills to solve crimes and contribute to criminal investigations. Throughout our forensic science course, you’ll build a strong foundation in biology, chemistry and analytical science while learning how forensic techniques are applied in real-world contexts. You can tailor your studies by specialising in Forensic Biology or Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology, with the option to add Forensic Investigation as a second major, allowing you to focus on areas that align with your interests and forensic science career goals. You’ll gain extensive practical experience, including applying forensic techniques to simulated crime scenes and analysing evidence using laboratory methods.

English Test Requirement

Scaled mark of 50 or higher in one of the following (or interstate equivalent): English ATAR, Literature ATAR, English as an Additional Dialect (EALD) ATAR. Or a STAT Written English score of 140 or higher. Or evidence of completing year 11 and 12 in Australia at any Level (Domestic applicants only).
