You will spend weeks in lectures, labs and design studios, applying core engineering principles to solve practical problems and developing a 12-week industry placement that can be completed in Australia or overseas. Graduates move into roles such as Materials Engineer, Process Engineer, Metallurgist or R&D Technician in sectors ranging from aerospace to biomedical devices, often joining leading engineering firms or pursuing further study. This course suits students who have completed Year 12 or equivalent with strong results in maths and science and who are ready to engage in hands-on engineering projects and professional practice.
