About Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Single Major) (Environmental Engineering)

Applications are due International: 9 December 2025 (Autumn); 5 May 2026 (Spring).

A 12-week hands-on industry placement, either in Australia or overseas, forms a core part of the programme, giving you real-world experience early in your studies. From the second year you concentrate on Environmental Engineering, spending weeks in labs and design studios developing solutions for water quality, air and noise pollution, waste management and site remediation. In the final two years you deepen this knowledge with specialised subjects such as membrane technology and environmental engineering design, while continuing to work on industry projects. The degree is accredited by Engineers Australia, prepares graduates for roles such as environmental engineer, water engineer or sustainability specialist, and offers the option to combine a double major with another engineering discipline.
