Bachelor in BA Philosophy with a Foundation Year 2026/27

This foundation year offers an intensive, supportive start for students who need extra time to achieve required grades or wish to explore a range of humanities subjects before committing to a degree. A distinctive feature is the dedicated teaching team from UEA’s Interdisciplinary Institute for the Humanities and access to facilities such as the Media Suite and the Sainsbury Centre, providing a rich, interdisciplinary environment. It is ideal for those who want to develop critical thinking, academic writing and research skills while sampling history, literature, visual cultures, politics or a language, and then progress onto the BA Philosophy or another Arts and Humanities degree.
