About Bachelor in Audiology and Hearing Acoustics

The bachelor Audiology and Hearing Acoustics provides fundamental knowledge in the Introductory Lecture Physiology, Anatomy & Pathophysiology and Hearing Acoustics Basics. Students will examine hearing and speech, and the associated technology — including the design and production of hearing aids. The curriculum is designed around the practical training in a medical, hearing-related institution, focusing on the implementation of acoustics and audiology in various sectors.

Students will gain an in-depth understanding of the physical, biological, and technical aspects of hearing and speech, as well as the associated technology. The curriculum includes modules such as E-Health, Statistics Basics, Hearing system technology 1, Technical Acoustics, Otoplastics, Hearing system fitting, Regulatory Affairs / Data Protection, Clinical Audiology and Project Acoustics.

This programme integrates principles of acoustics, electronics, computer science and medical technology. A 15-week practical semester in a school or related institution is included, allowing students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting.
