The foundation year delivers six compulsory modules – Introduction to Software Development, Investigating IT, Problem-solving for Computing, two Study Skills courses and Foundation Mathematics – giving you the essential computing and mathematics grounding needed before moving onto the honours degree.

This course is for students who have achieved at least 64 UCAS points at A-level, a BTEC Diploma, an IB diploma with 72 higher-level points, or equivalent qualifications, and who wish to develop skills for a career in artificial intelligence, machine learning or data analysis.

You graduate ready for roles such as machine learning engineer or data analyst.
