Flexible Pathways to Licensure

The programme offers two distinct tracks to accommodate diverse academic backgrounds. The two-year, 45-credit sequence is designed for those who already hold a B.A. or B.S. in Architecture. For students entering from other disciplines, the 3.5-year (96-credit) track provides a robust foundation, beginning with an intensive summer Architecture Bootcamp to ensure all students are prepared for the rigours of graduate-level design. Whether based in Boise or Moscow, students benefit from a STEM-designated curriculum that emphasises sustainability and real-world problem-solving, positioning them for success in an evolving global industry.

In Moscow, students study on an ivy-covered campus within a supportive and welcoming community. Campus life includes clubs, sports, housing, dining, lectures, performances and showcases. The university also offers online classes through Campus 360 and in-person study locations in Boise, Coeur d’Alene and Idaho Falls, giving students options beyond the Moscow campus.

The University of Idaho is Idaho’s first and only Carnegie R1 research university. Its academic offerings cover more than 200 areas of study, including agriculture, anatomy, fine arts and business administration.
