About Master in Architecture March

At University of Idaho, tuition costs 29,784 USD per year.

At the heart of the Master of Architecture experience is the design studio, a dedicated space where the philosophy of learning-by-making comes to life. Students spend nine hours a week in close collaboration with faculty, engaging in an iterative process that bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and professional practice. This NAAB-accredited professional degree is engineered to equip graduates with the comprehensive skill set required for architectural licensure, focusing on the critical interplay between social, environmental, and technical systems.

Flexible Pathways to Licensure

The programme offers two distinct tracks to accommodate diverse academic backgrounds. The two-year, 45-credit sequence is designed for those who already hold a B.A. or B.S. in Architecture. For students entering from other disciplines, the 3.5-year (96-credit) track provides a robust foundation, beginning with an intensive summer Architecture Bootcamp to ensure all students are prepared for the rigours of graduate-level design. Whether based in Boise or Moscow, students benefit from a STEM-designated curriculum that emphasises sustainability and real-world problem-solving, positioning them for success in an evolving global industry.
