This programme focuses on transforming aquatic resources into biofood products using sustainable methods. Students learn to manage production, ensure quality control, and develop new food products. Training includes laboratory work, product innovation, and real-world workplace experiences. The programme emphasizes practical skills in seafood, mollusks, crustaceans, and algae processing.

Focus areas include Product Development, Quality Management, Food Safety, Innovation, Sustainable Processing, Laboratory Techniques.

3 years, 66 credits, includes co-op and practicum components.

Graduates work as biofood technologists in processing, research, or quality control roles.

High school diploma or equivalent with 5th year French and English, 4th year math, 4th year technical science or natural science, and 4th year environmental science.
