Applied Gender Studies, offered as part of the Master of Liberal Arts at the University of Opole, is a master's program in Opole, Poland, running over four semesters and taught in English, with yearly tuition of 5000 PLN. Students can shape their own study path, choosing a major suited to their interests, including a track in Philosophy, Culture, Politics, which aims to provide students with knowledge of major research orientations along with the research methods and skills needed to identify and articulate problems in that area. Gender studies as a discipline examines how gender shapes social structures, culture, law, and politics, drawing on sociology, philosophy, history, and law. Graduates of programs in this field often pursue careers in research, policy analysis, education, publishing, non-governmental organizations, and public administration. Applicants need a bachelor's degree or equivalent and English language skills at B2 level, confirmed by a diploma or certificate.
