About Advanced GIS Microcredential

Tuition is 2,385 CAD total programme cost.

This microcredential prepares for roles in geographic information systems (GIS) analysis, automation, and project management. Skills include advanced geoprocessing, raster data analysis, and automating GIS tasks using scripting tools. The program builds on the GIS Essentials Microcredential. It focuses on skills used in environmental planning, urban development, and resource management.

The programme is delivered online in a self-paced format with asynchronous learning and tutor support. Four courses are completed over 13 weeks, from February 16, 2027, to May 19, 2027. Each course includes practical work. All courses must be passed with at least 60% to earn the credential.

The GIS Essentials Microcredential must be completed first to qualify. The programme is open to domestic students only. Applications are accepted until the programme fills. Early submission is recommended. The total cost is $2,385 for domestic students.
