About the Program

Graduates are qualified to work as advanced care paramedics in emergency medical services and related fields. The program provides advanced training in managing medical and trauma emergencies. Students focus on neonatal, pediatric, and geriatric care. They develop skills in pharmacology, critical thinking, and life-saving interventions.

Two-year program with 60 credits. Includes field and clinical practicums. Offers flexible delivery with in-person, virtual, and asynchronous options.

Graduates enter careers as advanced care paramedics in emergency medical services, industrial settings, and collaborative emergency centres.

Primary Care Paramedic certification from an accredited program. Must be registered under the 2011 National Occupational Competency Profile. Requires ITLS Provider certificate and Basic Life Support certification. International applicants must meet English language requirements.

On-campus and online options. Full-time and part-time study available. Duration is two years.
