Master in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics

Actuarial and Financial Mathematics is a Master's programme at RPTU University Kaiserslautern-Landau that focuses on financial mathematics, actuarial sciences, statistics, and computational methods. Lectures in these fields are paired with seminars, reading courses, and project seminars, giving students both theoretical grounding and exposure to applied problem-solving. The curriculum also includes modules in Insurance Economics, Economics of Banking, and Dynamics of Financial Markets. Running over 4 semesters beginning in either the Winter or Summer semester, the programme is research-oriented and incorporates practical training on real-world problems. The final semester is reserved for the Master's thesis. The programme is based at RPTU University Kaiserslautern-Landau in Kaiserslautern.
