Students learn to build functional, responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and database-driven applications. The curriculum integrates user experience principles and collaborative project work to develop practical digital solutions. This dual focus enables students to understand how design and functionality work together in real-world applications.

The programme requires 120 credits, distributed across general education, core courses in design and development, and a senior capstone project. Students complete coursework in programming, design theory, and user experience, culminating in a portfolio-ready project.

Graduates enter roles such as web developer, user experience designer, front-end developer, or full-stack developer in technology firms, design agencies, or nonprofit organizations.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required. Submission of official transcripts and a personal statement is required for admission.

The programme totals about 120 credit hours. On-campus, full-time, typically four years. For international students, tuition is above the median for US programmes. The institution admits about 95% of applicants.

Edgewood College sits beside Lake Wingra in a quiet residential neighborhood of Madison, Wisconsin, with access to downtown, coffee shops, restaurants, events, bike trails, and outdoor activities.
