Bachelor in Web Development (BSc)

The BSc in Web Development at SRH University Berlin is a practice-oriented programme that trains students as both interaction designers and web developers within a single qualification. The curriculum covers social media, content engineering, script languages, software architecture, and usability, providing a foundation for designing and developing apps, professional applications, online services, virtual spaces, and games. The programme runs over seven semesters starting in the winter semester. Coursework is organised around cooperation projects involving teams of designers, copywriters, and marketing specialists, with students working on real assignments for business clients throughout their studies. A dual study option is also available, allowing students to integrate a partner company arrangement from the beginning of any semester. The curriculum progresses through design basics, computer science fundamentals, UX and HX design methods, software engineering, data science and artificial intelligence, and culminates in a Bachelor's thesis and entrepreneurship module. An internship semester is integrated into the fifth semester, and the programme includes optional German language courses. SRH University delivers this programme at its campus in Berlin, Germany.
