Hochschule Bremerhaven's Schiffs- und Anlagentechnik programme focuses on the design, operation, and maintenance of complex technical systems in maritime and industrial settings, with a strong emphasis on resource efficiency and environmental sustainability. The programme covers a wide range of topics, including energy conversion systems, wind power, hydrogen production, and combined heat and power systems. The curriculum is highly practical, with extensive use of machinery simulators and collaboration with industry partners, particularly during the sixth semester's 20-week internship. Partnering with Gdynia Maritime University in Poland, students have the opportunity to earn a dual degree, enhancing their global employability in fields such as shipbuilding, power plants, and renewable energy projects.
